The celebrated Masumi Per Rostad, GRAMMY-winning violist and professor at the Eastman School of Music, brings his artistry to Jessie Montgomery's dynamic Viola Concerto, a contemporary work rich with rhythm and emotion. The program concludes with Sibelius's Symphony No. 2, a sweeping, cinematic masterpiece filled with soaring Nordic landscapes, heroic themes, and one of the most glorious finales in symphonic music.
